About

Please, excuse the mess in here; I'm still getting things set up, and this is my first time running a blog. Call me Rey. Rey Za Burrel. I was the pretty blonde one who died at the end of Gundam SEED Destiny. You know, that Gundam series that most people wish never existed, or pretended they never watched?  Yeah, that one.

okay, maybe not my finest day, alright? you try staring death in the face and looking this good comparatively acceptable.
Alas, I digress. In my afterlife, which I admit is not what I was expecting at all, I've decided to take up the art of flower arranging online gaming to pass the time. Bad choice, I know.

It seems that even after death I still couldn't pull myself away from the controls of a Mobile Suit, because here I am, finding myself lost in OGPlanet's SD Gundam Capsule Fighter Online. Having been loitering around in the background since the closed beta, I'd say that I'm fairly familiar with the inner workings of the game, save for a few of my own handicaps.

I decided to create this blog on a whim one night while sleep eluded me. A long-time friend of mine in SDGO suggested to me that, since I seem to be able to write well, that perhaps I should do something of this sort. And a few days of wading through Indonesian HTML code later, here we are. It mostly came about from a lack of reliable information regarding units following the G-Generation update, since SDGO's North American server is the second one in the world to have access to it, and I thought that perhaps I could help rectify that.

Or maybe I'm just a sucker for punishment. We shall see.

Unlike many of SDGO's pilots, I haven't ever set foot on one of the East Asian servers. In fact, I didn't know the game existed at all until OGP announced they were opening a server themselves.  Of course, being the shameless Gundam fan that I am, I immediately jumped all over the Closed Beta registration and became one of the game's beta testers.

I ran a small, quiet clan for several months, consisting only of a few close friends. However, when those friends went inactive, I was a member of a high-ranking clan, R S Battalion, for quite a while. Circumstances beyond my control had me leave the game for months, at which point I withdrew from RSB of my own volition on account of my inactivity. I've just recently reopened my old clan, FAITH, which was first created in the days following the release of the clan system. Applications are open to anyone who wishes to join - I don't demand tryouts or anything of the sort, as I prefer mission play to PvP in the end anyway. I simply don't have the competitive spirit that PvP sometimes seems to require, and I've had troubles with my hands and wrists that limit how quickly I can move my fingers to a certain degree. I do PvP when I have to, but I'm generally found lurking on the Missions server, helping other pilots finish quests. Feel free to invite me into a room if you need a hand; I'll do what I can to help if I'm not busy with other things.

May fortunes smile upon you,

- RZB
